People across the political spectrum realize the system has failed. [Kennedy24 Logo](sk3m_biGN:m:1:2670130663:836B33AC63196108BA91F011EFCF2BFC:r) Dear {NAME}, The American revolution was triggered by the Boston Tea Party, a rebellion against the British empire imposing taxes on New England tea merchants while eliminating taxes on the tea company owned by the British aristocracy. Furious with a blatant violation of their rights to “no taxation without representation,” the colonists boarded the ship carrying the King’s tea and dumped it in Boston Harbor. In the revolution that followed, America’s citizen soldiers defeated history’s most powerful empire, freed themselves from a corrupt collusion between money and government, and won our independence. Today, after the failed policies of the Trump and Biden administrations, the top 1% now owns more of our country’s wealth than the entire 60% in the middle. The Trump Biden lockdown economy has saddled us with an unacceptable crisis. Working Americans can no longer afford life in America. Everyday Americans, on average, are borrowing $5000 a year on credit cards to meet their needs. We are facing a disparity in income that is downright dystopian. Income inequality today is worse than it was in 1774 before our revolution. So we are back to conditions we fought a revolution over. And is that any surprise when we have two parties in Washington who’s elected officials are indentured servants to their corporate donors and who claim to believe in democracy but really only when it’s convenient? People across the political spectrum realize the system has failed. Our government, subverted by powerful monied interests, no longer works for them. And it has given us an economy that exploits the many to build the outsized wealth of a few in a new, emerging aristocracy. That’s why this election is not about “left vs. right” and the same old, tired fights. It’s about all Americans of good will coming together to rebel against a broken, bankrupt system. Kennedy Jr. will end the corrupt merger between state and corporate power that strip mines the assets of the middle class. Kennedy will end the forever wars, invest the peace dividend here at home and restore the American Dream. While the pack in Washington has been cozying up to their big money donors, Kennedy has fought the corporate takeover of our environment and government for decades. That’s why Time Magazine named him “Hero for the Planet” and why an Independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr is the people’s champion we need in 2024.
