TimberFill, a loose fill insu= lation, can be blown in or dense packed for high performing, affordable, sa= fe, and carbon negative coverage in attics, wall cavities, floors, and ceil= ings. Last month TimberHP commissioned its [TimberBatt](3D"=)manufacturing line, and will be commercializing= TimberBatt in late December/January. The [TimberBoard](3D"=) line scheduled to start up shortly thereafter.= TimberHP was recently joined by Weatherization Training Consultant, Bi= ll Hulstrunk on a project installing TimberFill in a Habitat for = Humanity ReStore site in Belfast, Maine. =09=09=09=09 =20 =09=09=09=09 =20 =20 [3D""] =20 =20 =09 =09=09=09 =20 =09=09=09=09 =20 =20 Bill Hulst= runk joined by TimberHP Field Education Specialist Matt Damon =09=09=09=09 =20 =09=09=09=09 =09 =20 =09=09=09=09 =20 =20 "I was invited up to Belfast ME= to experience their first generation Timberfill blown in product. Th= is was a new construction wood framed Habitat project with 2 x 6 walls.&nbs= p; After stapling up Insulweb to enclose the open wall cavities, we proceed= ed to dense pack them using the 2=E2=80=9D diameter four-foot-long aluminum= tube. I was impressed with how similar the wood fiber was to cellulo= se in filling these cavities. The dust blowing through the fabric als= o seemed to be less than with cellulose. Another advantage to this pr= oduct is that it had zero debris, unlike cellulose which has progressively = gotten more contaminated with plastic since my time with National Fiber.&nb= sp; Timber HP has recently released their generation 2 Timberfill product w= hich has softer wood fibers opening it up for use in a wider variety of blo= wing machines including smaller machines with paddle style agitators."= Bill Hulstrunk Weatherization Training Consultant =09=09=09=09 =20 =09=09=09=09 [Find a Distributor or Lea= rn More](3D"5EcnB=) =09 =09=09=09 =20 =09=09=09=09 =20 =20 About TimberHP TimberHP manufactures high-performing wood fiber insulation that is healthy= for people and the planet.
