REGISTER NOW!]( Hello investor Poker is a good metaphor when you use margin trading. In a poker game, you must add more chips (essentially your money) if you want to stay in the game. You have a pair of cards. You already added chips to stay in the game for the first round. And your instinct tells you that the odds are against you. But you’ve put in a lot of chips already. You can’t make yourself abandon these chips if you fold. So, you decided to stay in the game. That’s what makes poker unique. You must pay to stay. If you want to see the next card, you must buy it. So, the game forces you to invest new money to protect old money. The same thing is true with margin trading. If your position falls below the margin call, the broker demands you to put up more money. You must throw in more money if you are unwilling to lose your old money. The best course of action often is to get out. That is easier said than done. It requires us to admit that we were wrong. That is painful for many of us. So, struggling traders prefer to avoid the pain, thus repeatedly getting wiped out by bad trades. So, get in the habit of taking small losses. If a trade doesn’t work out, walk away and try something else. Don’t stay too long. There are always opportunities around the corner. Here’s my tip: A productive habit would be to expect small losses. Just like you expect taxes. We just know that it’s part of earning a living. Small losses are the same thing.
