A HUGE victory at the Supreme Court today holds a lesson for November. [View in browser]( {NAME}, This is Tamie Wilson, the Democrat who will defeat Jim Jordan in November. I wanted to take a second to celebrate the Supreme Court's HUGE decision today to reject a frivolous challenge to mifepristone, which is a safe and effective drug used in more than half of all abortions nationwide. But today's decision, based entirely on procedural grounds, leaves open the possibility of future attacks by right wing activists and courts that are even more reactionary and extreme than they are now. That's why what we do together this election is SO important! We cannot let our freedom, our bodies, and our ability to control our own lives depend on unelected, largely white male, judges do. I was on the ground in Washington, D.C. joining the Women’s March and the protests in front of the Supreme Court before oral arguments in this case to make our voices heard and fight for our rights. I'm glad the Justices heard our message LOUD AND CLEAR! Jim Jordan opposes EVERY common sense reproductive healthcare measure: Republicans just voted AGAINST guaranteeing access to contraceptives; they are expected to vote AGAINST protecting in vitro fertilization (IVF), which millions of Americans facing infertility rely on to grow their families; and Jordan and the MAGAs in Congress oppose support for impoverished children and pregnant women. Jim Jordan also SPONSORED the "Life at Conception" act that would make IVF illegal and punish with criminal penalties even medication abortion. And he sponsored bills that would force women seeking abortions to undergo medically unnecessary ultrasounds. Enough is enough. [I need your help to stand up for ALL of US and our rights.
