Hey {NAME}, The right books can shave years of your learning curve. But how do you know which books

Hey {NAME}, The right books can shave years of your learning curve. But how do you know which books are worth your time and which books to leave on the shelf? Recommendations from people you trust and respect is a huge part of navigating which books you should spend your time reading. (And re-reading). [That's why I've put together a list of my top book recommendations.]( And today, I'm sharing one of my favorites from my list, Dale Carnegie's classic book, "How to Win Friends and Influence People". Here are a few of the gems worth sharing… (but I still strongly recommend reading this book yourself to get the most out of it). Win People to Your Way of Thinking: - Avoid arguments; seek agreement - Find common ground as early in the conversation as possible. - Show respect for others' opinions - Even if you don't agree, showing respect for others' opinions is a quicker way to win them over. - Admit your mistakes quickly - When you make a mistake, admit it quickly and move on. - Begin conversations in a friendly way - Never start with confrontation - always start talking to people in a positive way. - Get the other person saying "yes" immediately - Try and get the other person to agree with you quickly - even over small things. - Let others do most of the talking - Don't dominate the conversation - most people prefer to talk instead of listening. - Make people feel like they came up with the idea - If you want to convince people of your idea, make them believe it was their idea first. - Understand and sympathize with others' perspectives - Always try to genuinely empathize and understand others' point of view - Appeal to people's sense of goodness and what's right - Appeal to people's morals, to their sense of right and wrong, and desire to be good. - Make your ideas exciting and vivid, to captivate people's attention - Avoid sharing information in a way that's too bland and factual. - Present challenges to inspire action - Challenge people to change their view point and take action. There's so much more in this book when it comes to building relationships and mastering the art of persuasion… […And I share more about what I've learned in this video.]( Make sure you're taking the time to read high quality books regularly. It will do more for your business journey than you think. Stay strong, Tai Lopez CEO Tailopez.com *** You are receiving this email because you are connected/signed up to receive emails.
