Your bad habits are your downfall. Here's the problem. You might have already accepted bad habits as character traits. Ever met someone who says "I'm just a messy person", or, "I just work well under pressure, so I do things at the last minute", or "I'm just always late"? Those aren't character traits, they're ineffective habits. The self-help influencers would probably tell you that you're perfect as you are and that you need to love yourself no matter what. That's not how things work. The more you root out habits that are keeping you from your goals, the better you will feel about yourself. Here's a healthier and more realistic way to think about it: "Love thy strengths and root out thy weaknesses" By rooting out your weaknesses, your bad habits, you will have a better chance of reaching your goals! Whether you're trying to build a business, get bigger, cut body fat, or even find a romantic partner. You're more likely to achieve what you're working for if you have the right habits. The question is, how do you pinpoint what habits are keeping you from your goals? Simple, use feedback analysis. Take a look at what's happening and adapt. Are you constantly putting off things you know you should do to build your business? If so, work on eliminating procrastination from your life. Here's my best tip for replacing your habits. Start surrounding yourself with people who do the opposite of what you're doing. If you procrastinate, find a group of people who don't procrastinate. If you eat too much junk food, start hanging out with people who eat healthy, and who are in good shape. You're going to feel uncomfortable. That's what you're looking for. That discomfort is a signal from your brain telling you to change in order to fit in with the new group. Disliking your weaknesses is a good thing {NAME}. Use that dislike to root them out, it will lead you to become another person… a better version of yourself. Look back in history. Demosthenes was one of the greatest orators in ancient Greece. He was so good that his words got the Athenians to fight against Philip the Macedon, Alexander The Great's father, and even against Alexander The Great. Here's the kicker, Demosthenes stuttered, he had a harsh and tuneless voice, and he had trouble pronouncing the letter r.
