How to make money while staying healthy? That is the ultimate quandary for entrepreneurs. [I talk about it in depth in this video.]( People go too far either way. They give up everything to make money, and then they can't enjoy it because they're not healthy. Or they focus solely on health, but neglect to make money. Ultimately yes, health is the real wealth. If you had the chance to have $100 billion dollars, but the trade off was that you were bedridden for the rest of your life, almost no one would take that trade. Because money only has utility to the extent that it's usable. At the end of the day, money is always an exchange unit. But you can't get back time. Once it's gone, it's vanished. There's an old saying that goes "entrepreneurs spend their 20s, 30s, and 40s trying to gain wealth, and then they use their wealth in their 50s, 60s and 70s trying to regain their youth…" There's a lot of advice out there that says you should sacrifice your 20s to gain money, so you have some kind of competitive advantage. It's weak logic, and it prioritizes the wrong thing. What's the only thing you can do that's time sensitive and encapsulated between the ages of 20 and 30? If you're a man, that's around the time you're going to have maximum testosterone. That's a competitive advantage for your health, and you won't have it at any other time in your life. So, focusing on building a healthy body and building muscle is the better chess move. That doesn't mean you shouldn't make money, but you shouldn't sacrifice that window of time to only make money. That's following what I call biological imperatives. Nature has a timeline, as much as we want to fight it. As Robert Frost said, "the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry." If you're planning on sacrificing your health to make money, to then spend that money to regain your health… I have bad news for you. It's probably not going to work. "So Tai, when should I focus on making money?" Look, to me, life is about ratios. It's not about not making any money. I'm not saying that. The ratio on what you focus on will change over time. Remember, there are 4 pillars to The Good Life. Health, wealth, love, and happiness. You're always going to want to focus a little bit on all 4 pillars. But the ratio you use will be different at different times in your life. The problem is that people look at things in a binary way. You either have one thing or the other. Life doesn't really work out like that. Stop thinking in this binary concept, in black or white. Life is different shades of gray. I don't think there should be a time when you completely neglect any of the 4 Pillars of The Good Life. Instead, you want to find the ratio that works for you. Find the right ratio, and you're going to live a happier life tailored to what you want. [Check out the full episode here.]( I want to hear back from you {NAME}. Let me know what you have been neglecting, and how you're going to switch what you focus on so you build a life where you not only have money, but also have health, love, and happiness. Stay strong,
