My Best Advice If You Want to Become Wealthy

Is most wealth self made or inherited? Depends on who you ask. Some studies say only 8.5% of those with a net worth over $30 million completely inherited their wealth. Mostly self made. But the tricky thing is... How much of societal effects are not counted in this research. For example, is it fair to compare a kid who grew up in the slums of Sao Paulo, Brazil to a "self made" Beverly Hills kid who technically didn't inherit any money directly? Then there is the whole genetic debate… Do people inherit certain personality traits like "conscientiousness" which is proven to lead to wealth? Which, if true, makes this an extremely complex conversation that people love to oversimplify. My advice: shadow someone for a year who's created wealth.
