[Step 1] Identifying Your Hook
It’s not about what you sell, but how you sell it.
It’s not as simple as selling beauty or fitness products.
First, you need a “hook” to catch the attention of your customers.
You create a hook by knowing your audience.
A good hook is simple, strong, and benefit driven.
Once you have the hook, move onto step 2.
[Step 2] Mapping Out The Process
Next, you need a strategy for selling the product.
Just like how you walk into a clothing store, talk to a rep, and try on outfits, you need a similar process that works online.
If your strategy isn’t optimized to sell...
It won’t matter how much you’re spending on advertising.
You won’t make a cent.
Once you’ve mapped out your strategy, here’s the next step.
[Step 3] Optimize
Every day you should be testing new ideas.
In most cases, 20% of your funnel is responsible for 80% of your results.
So make sure you prioritize what’s important.
Don’t spend 3 months creating a logo.
You can shortcut the optimization process by following what works.

Now it’s time to show the product to the world.
Only when you have the foundations should you start advertising.
This is where copywriting, compliance, and targeting helps you the most.
You also want to test, A LOT.
You never know how people respond to your ideas.

Yet all it takes is one to stick.
[Step 5] Scaling
Finally, it’s time to sell more.
You can’t get to this step without completing 1-4 first.
Ecommerce isn’t about getting wealthy overnight.
But... things are definitely a lot faster than 20 years ago.
