Hey {NAME}, Do humans have free will? [I made a deep-dive video]( discussing this concept with Dr. David Buss, Joel Salatin, and a few others. We like to think we are in control. If you read the poem "Invictus" by William Ernest Henley, he says "I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul." But that might not be entirely true... free will might be an illusion. In the book "Free Will" Sam Harris says: "Free will is an illusion. Our wills are simply not of our own making. Thoughts and intentions emerge from background causes of which we are unaware and over which we exert no conscious control. We do not have the freedom we think we have." More things about you are predetermined than you think {NAME}. We live in a world that tells us "we can be whatever we want to be". But, no matter how much I want to play basketball like Shaq, I can't will myself to be 7 feet tall. Every human has strengths and weaknesses, instead of fighting them and trying to impose our "free will", I think it's a better choice to follow Peter Drucker's advice: "A person can perform only from strength.
