PROVIDE THOUSANDS OF IMPOVERISHED AND DISPLACED CHILDREN WITH A BACKPACK FILLED WITH ESSENTIAL SCHOO

PROVIDE THOUSANDS OF IMPOVERISHED AND DISPLACED CHILDREN WITH A BACKPACK FILLED WITH ESSENTIAL SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND NUTRITIOUS FOOD [DONATE A SCHOOL KIT]( Oriya, a 9.5-year-old evacuee from the South, is one of 15,000 displaced children who received a school kit from Latet last November with all the necessities to start school despite being far from home. As the new school year approaches, tens of thousands of impoverished and displaced families in Israel face overwhelming challenges. The ongoing conflict has exacerbated an already difficult economic situation, leaving many families unable to provide their children with essential school supplies. Over 100,000 families in Israel remain displaced, forcing many children to start school in unfamiliar locations away from their homes. These disruptions not only widen educational gaps but also hinder affected children from reaching their full learning potential. Last November, Latet, the largest nonprofit combating poverty in Israel, distributed 15,000 school kits to displaced children who had to start anew after urgently fleeing their homes with just a few personal belongings. Now, the need is even greater. At Latet, we are committed to doing everything we can to meet this growing demand, but we need your help to succeed. Donate a school kit to children from impoverished and displaced families. Each school kit includes a backpack, pencil case, notebooks, writing utensils and a food box. [CLICK TO DONATE]( Your support is crucial at this time According to Latet's Alternative Poverty Report 2023, 73% of parents receiving aid from Latet report that they could not afford basic school supplies for their children. As we prepare for the upcoming new year, we are expanding our assistance to include even more children from displaced and impoverished families and wish to provide them with a comprehensive school kit and nutritious food. These essential items will help ensure these children have a positive start to their school year, despite the upheavals they have faced. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to empowering these resilient children and supporting them during this critical time. Together, we can make a profound difference in their lives. [DONATE A SCHOOL KIT]( Latet was founded in 1996 and is the largest Israeli NGO combating poverty. Acting as an umbrella organization, Latet provides for the basic needs of populations living in poverty and food insecurity on an equal basis, giving ongoing food assistance to over 200,000 children, families, elderly and Holocaust survivors in Israel. The organization operates the leading national food bank and runs impactful aid programs with responsibility, effectiveness and innovation while relentlessly advocating for a better society This email was sent to {EMAIL} [why did I get this?]( [unsubscribe from this list]( [update subscription preferences]( Tablet Magazine · P.O.
