Hey Data Scientist, It’s Kirill here. What if I told you that 30-44% of all Data Science and Machine Learning jobs on the market right now are likely inaccessible to you? [PS: No time to read? Join our Free LIVE Training this week to find out more]( “Whaaaat?” Yes. You heard me right… …there is something big happening at the moment which not many Data Scientists realize… …and which you should absolutely know about! The convergence between Data Science and the Cloud is already happening! The Cloud is no longer simply an advantage for Data Science, it is becoming a necessity. “What does this mean?” You might ask. Data Science and Machine Learning models are becoming more and more complex. They require significant computing resources to train and deploy them at scale. Truly, only the Cloud can solve this challenge in a cost-effective fashion and that’s why we are seeing more and more businesses move to the Cloud. Here are a few examples: Netflix - all (and we mean literally “ALL”) of Netflix’s IT infrastructure is hosted in the AWS Cloud. That includes all servers, storage, databases, and even content. How crazy is that! OpenAI’s ChatGPT has over 175 Billion parameters and 100 Million users per month - all of which require a substantial amount of resources to train and deploy the model at scale. That which only the Cloud can provide. Coca-Cola Andina managed to increase the productivity of the analytics team by 80% by leveraging AWS Cloud technologies. Other examples of companies leveraging the Cloud include Nasa, Starbucks, Disney, McDonalds, Snapchat, GE, Sony, and many more. Our analysis of the job market shows that already now, we can clearly see that 30-44% of DS & ML job postings mention Cloud Skills as either a requirement or preference. That means that even if you are the best Machine Learning engineer out there, but you don’t have Cloud Skills, then you will likely miss out on 1 in 3 job opportunities. And this number will grow as more and more companies adopt the Cloud. And btw, if you are not looking for a new job right now and are happy where you are… …what happens when YOUR company adopts the Cloud? Either way, the verdict is clear. Adding Cloud Skills to your Data Science toolkit is a necessity. By now you might be wondering: “So what should I do?” Don’t worry! There are specific actionable steps you can take to SECURE your career from the coming disruption. Ready to learn more? [Join our FREE Live Training lead by Hadelin & me]( There are three sessions to choose from this & next week. Miss out at your own risk! Cheers, Kirill PS: The insights we will be sharing will be helpful both in your day-to-day job as well as in interviews. # # If you wish to stop receiving our emails or change your subscription options, please [Manage Your Subscription]( SuperDataScience Pty Ltd (ABN 91 617 928 131), 15 Macleay Crescent, Pacific Paradise, QLD 4564, Australia

The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
