The West is home to some pretty spectacular art festivals and exhibitions. One to put on your spring to-do list is [Desert X 2023]( in the [Palm Springs]( area. It’s a biennial outdoor art exhibition that features site-specific works located in different spots all throughout the Coachella Valley. And did I mention that it’s open to the public and completely free? I recently attended a special preview of the art exhibit, which runs from now until May 7, and it was an awe-inspiring experience with such immersive, thought-provoking works. I’m talking massive shipping container installations, maze-like structures, and emotionally moving billboards.
