Also, Did You Change Your Clocks? [Click here to read this email in a browser]( [Alternate text] Can you believe it's time for the great clock-changing ritual again? To me it feels like every year this gets easier on a logistical level, as more and more of the timepieces in my life are smart enough to change themselves overnight. But changing over my own internal clock? I get crankier about that with each passing spring. Luckily [there are ways to make the transition easier](, and I did think to write a few of them down. (Someone please remind me to take my own advice tomorrow when I'm sleepwalking through Monday.) I try to look at it this way: The beginning of daylight saving time means that it stays light later, making the days seem longer and warmer. This weekend has always felt like the end of winter to me, and an opportunity to look ahead to spring—even to start thinking about summer. To that end, we've got a pair of articles with a fair-weather vibe. One is a roundup of [great lodging options in Yellowstone](, brought to us by our two most intrepid explorers, J.D. Simkins and Kristin Scharkey. Their advice is good year-round, of course, but if you want to lock down the best places to stay this summer, whether it's a prime camping site or a luxury room, it's not too early to start planning. The other breezy piece is Navpreet Dhillon's fantastic tour of [a unique beachfront property in Manhattan Beach, California](. There's hardly a seashell or a nautical stripe to be found here, but even with all the modern finishings and surprisingly dark pops of color, just looking at the photos feels like warm day at the ocean. I am going to start jotting down notes about how I can make these decor elements work in my own home. Just as soon as I have a second cup of coffee.
