Though the summer solstice is weeks away, I know the sunny season has actually started because I've just been through the annual Memorial Day ritual of realizing my lawn furniture game is lacking. I go through this each summer, vowing to make improvements before Labor Day, but somehow I always end the season on the same plastic Adirondak chairs I started with.
