The NRA is in financial trouble and may soon have to stop production on NRATV, its mouthpiece

The NRA is in financial trouble and may soon have to stop production on NRATV, its mouthpiece for racist conspiracy theories and pro-assault rifle propaganda. Amazon can put the last nail in the coffin of NRATV by refusing to stream it. Tell Amazon to dump NRATV now! [ Sign the PetitionÂ]( {NAME}, Burning cross onesies for infants. Swastika pendants. Lynching images. Those are some of the awful, racist merchandise you could buy on Amazon -- until now. That’s right, because of SumOfUs members like you and our partners at Action Center on Race and the Economy and Partnership for Working Families, Amazon is dropping these items from its storefront. This is a huge victory!  [“Amazon]( But selling racist imagery isn’t the only way Amazon is tied to hate. The company still streams NRATV’s racist, pro-assault rifle conspiracy theories, even in the wake of deadly school shootings. Amazon has the opportunity to do the right thing again-- this time they can put the final nail in the coffin for NRATV.  Last week the NRA announced that it is deep financial troubles and will likely have to stop producing NRATV-- and may even shut down NRA operations altogether!  So it’s more urgent than ever that Amazon acts now. [Amazon: Kick the habit. Stop streaming NRATV.]( One action at a time, we are putting Amazon’s atrocious business practices to an end. Now you may not find any Amazon sales on Nazi backpacks anymore, but make no mistake, the company still profits off hate. Amazon is still streaming NRATV, the 24/7 propaganda service that broadcasts messaging that is a violent cocktail of Breitbart's xenophobia and Infowars’ alternate reality. NRATV compared parkland shooting survivors to hitler and said that child detention centers are “too nice.” 24/7 hate and lies are now available in your home, thanks to Amazon. But because of the remarkable work of the young organizers who led the March for Our Lives movement, the NRA is struggling. With major blows to its reputation and a lawsuit from the State of New York, the NRA recently announced that it may not be able to exist. What better time to get Amazon, the biggest name in tech, to ditch the backwards broadcasting of NRATV once and for all? [Add your voice: Tell Amazon to stop streaming NRATV immediately.]( In the streets and in online channels, we have been there to beat back Amazon’s moral corruption. From calling on Amazon to ditch Breitbart, to protesting at the company’s annual shareholder meeting, to taking action to support underpaid fulfillment center workers, to fighting back against the gross streaming of NRA-TV: SumOfUs members like you have been right in the middle of this fight. Now, in this tender political moment of ignorance and violence, help us raise the standard in which we treat each other and demand that Amazon do their part in tackling hate. [ Sign the PetitionÂ]( Thanks for all that you do, Sijal and the team at SumOfUs P.S. It’s only thanks to SumOfUs members like you that we were able to get this far on Amazon. These past few years have been intense, but to truly win accountability from a corporation the size of Amazon, its going to take even more of what we got. Until Amazon decides to finally treat their workers with dignity and stop doing business with hate groups, we need support from members like you. [Please can you set up a small monthly donation today so that we can keep fighting to end Amazon's atrocious practices, once and for all.]( More information: [Amazon pulls some Nazi-themed, offensive items after criticism, but many remain.]( NPR, August 2018 [NRA says it faces financial crisis, claims it might be 'unable to exist' in future: lawsuit](. USA Today, August 2018    --------------------------------------------------------------- SumOfUs is a community of people from around the world committed to curbing the growing power of corporations. We want to buy from, work for and invest in companies that respect the environment, treat their workers well and respect democracy. And we’re not afraid to stand up to them when they don’t.
