How to Get Featured in Magazines, Blow Up Your Email List & Make a Name for Yourself Online...Without Dancing on TikTok]( A special holiday workshop this Thursday for all subscribers 🦌 🌲 ⛸️ [Ash Ambirge]( Dec 12   [READ IN APP](   First of all—and most importantly—I hope your dog dies. THIS IS WHAT SOMEONE SAID TO ME THE OTHER DAY SO NOW I MUST REPEAT IT. I don’t really hope your dog dies, unless it is one of those yappy ones that barks at 2 o’clock in the morning at such high pitched decibels that not even “Green Noise With River” on the Calm app can drown it out. (That’s one of my favorites whenever there is a yappy dog at 2 o’clock in the morning, though I seem to have left that behind in Costa Rica, for here in the rural Pennsylvania countryside [where I bought the new farmhouse]( the only thing I hear at 2 o’clock in the morning is my neighbor Mickey’s pick-up truck gunning it up the hill.) Anyway, I met a 70-year-old man the other day who looks exactly like a Wrangler-wearing farmer version of Richard Gere who literally says this as his *most sarcastic* sign off. “See you later, nice to meet you!” “I hope your dog dies.” I think this man is my hero. Should we kidnap him??? ANYWAY—*breathes in that country air* I’m working on bringing in a series of fun new experts here to The Middle Finger Project to help you find your passion, travel the world, and run a creative business from anywhere, and as such, I’ve invited my phenomenal friend Susie to speak to us about how to get your work featured in magazines—the easy way! I LOVE SUSIE’S SUPER HACK FOR THIS. Her personal mantra is “let it be easy,” so that’s why I love her and her method: instead of you running yourself ragged creating tons of “engaging” content and trying to “build an audience” (how’s that going for everyone, lol), you’re going to learn how to tap into huge existing audiences with engaged readers who are all hungry for what you have to share, e.g. magazines. (Ooo, glossy!) The concept? You create one piece of killer content and learn how to get it featured. But, that’s not it: when you do this well, your one piece of content can get syndicated across a number of publications. So then you aren’t just featured in one place: that one piece of content can get you featured in Business Insider, and then syndicated over to The Wall Street Journal, and then syndicated over to Shape Magazine, and then syndicated to Magnolia Journal…and then over to Money Magazine…and then next thing you know, you’ve just 10X’d your exposure, effortlessly. (And get to say you’ve been featured in all of those places!) Not only will this build your email list like crazy, but once you’re showing up all over the place, that effortlessly leads to other opportunities: you being called and invited to be on shows; you being featured on the cover of your favorite magazine; you being invited to be a part of a famous brand’s campaign; you getting a book deal. (This is a real story she’ll share of someone she worked with recently, inside [our workshop]( There is, of course, a trick to doing this right and actually getting media coverage (versus spitting into the wind), and that’s what she’s going to be presenting on in our live workshop this Thursday. 🌲🦌⛸️ What’s funny is, you don’t have to be an expert to get covered. You become an expert by getting covered. This is the art of strategically crafting attention, rather than hoping to get noticed. And, it’s the PERFECT hack for you if you’re feeling massive imposter syndrome and you’re worried you’re not “expert” enough. You don’t need years of experience to contribute your ideas. You just need to contribute your ideas. And, we’re going to help you learn how to do that! Free Workshop Details Workshop Title: Overnight Rockstar with Susie Moore & Ash Ambirge (That’s me!) Style: Live Zoom Online, hoping to christ the wifi works around here 😂 Date: This Thursday, December 14th Time: 1pm ET / 10am PT / 6pm GMT / 5am AET (on Friday the 15th) Fee: Free for all subscribers—happy holidays! How to Get Access: [Click here]( or the button below to enter your email. You’ll be sent all of the workshop details automatically [Get Featured in Magazines!]( Remember: you don’t need to hustle for every good thing that happens to you. Like Susie says, it is far better to be average…and seen. Average…and hireable. Average and…rich. Than brilliant, flawless, perfect…and unseen. Can’t wait to see some of my fav peeps there live this Thursday! LET’S PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!! [Here’s the link to register](. 🥂 I hope your dog dies. Ash P.S. This is not about being famous because that’s weird & intimidating. This is about getting awesome free, effortless marketing for your little biz—and having people clamor to work with you, without you having to beg them to like you & spend money. 😂 Whether you’re selling a service, creating a course, running a program, or inviting members to a club, this will dramatically up your professional game. P.P.S. You do not need to live in a big city. You can live in any country in the world. I got my book deal with Penguin all the way from Costa Rica—and then wrote parts of the book in Chile and Ireland! P.P.P.S. I was at a brewery called “Two Dogs” the other day, and I was about to tell the story of that man with his sign-off, and then remembered WHERE I WAS. I’m so glad I didn’t mention it, hahahahahahahahaha. The Middle Finger Project with Ash Ambirge is a reader-supported publication.
