Sep 26   [READ IN APP](   According to the Atlantic Council, there are currently 131 countries that have launched CBDCs or are in the pilot phase. Even major economies such as Russia and Japan are in the trial phases. Central bank digital currencies have become a top priority for technocrats and bureaucrats alike, and the US is no exception, having launched the FedNow system just a few months ago in July.
