Federal agents arrested a woman from the Chicago area on Monday based on a complaint accusing her of sending threatening emails to shoot former President Donald Trump and his youngest son Barron. The U.S. attorney's office in Chicago confirmed that Tracy Marie Fiorenza, aged 41, was taken into custody on a charge of transmitting threats to kill or injure. The case was filed earlier this month in U.S. District Court in southern Florida.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 [View in browser]() [WOW: Secret Service Arrests Chicago Woman for Alleged Threats to Shoot Donald and Barron Trump]( [PatriotNewsToday]( Aug 23   [READ IN APP](   Federal agents arrested a woman from the Chicago area on Monday based on a complaint accusing her of sending threatening emails to shoot former President Donald Trump and his youngest son Barron. The U.S. attorney's office in Chicago confirmed that Tracy Marie Fiorenza, aged 41, was taken into custody on a charge of transmitting threats to kill or injure. The case was filed earlier this month in U.S. District Court in southern Florida. According to an affidavit accompanying the complaint, Fiorenza allegedly wrote in an email on May 21 to the head of an educational institution in the Palm Beach, Florida area, "I will state that I will shoot Donald Trump Sr. AND Barron Trump straight in the face at any opportunity I get!" Donald Trump's primary residence is located in Palm Beach. Another email with a similar threat was allegedly sent by Fiorenza on June 5, where she mentioned she would "slam a bullet" into Barron Trump "with his father IN SELF DEFENSE!" Fiorenza made an initial appearance in U.S. District Court in Chicago and was informed by the judge that she would need to answer the charges in the district court in Florida. The transfer process would be decided at a hearing scheduled for Wednesday. Fiorenza was interviewed by agents at the Secret Service agency's Chicago field on June 14, during which copies of the threatening emails were presented to her. She is stated to reside in Plainfield, Illinois, a southwest suburb of Chicago. Reports indicate that Fiorenza's public Facebook page, which was still accessible on Monday, contained several anti-Trump posts, including an image of a hanged Trump effigy and references to conspiracy theories like pedophile rings and the Illuminati. Her Facebook page also claims she was a former social studies teacher at Chicago Public Schools (CPS), a claim which CPS confirmed, noting that she was employed by the district from September 22, 2019, until her termination on August 30, 2020. However, CPS did not confirm whether she was a teacher. This incident is not the first time Donald Trump has faced public threats against his life. According to research by social media analytics company Dataminr, over 12,000 tweets called for his assassination in the days following his inauguration on January 20, 2017.
