[VENTURES AFRICA]( May 5   [Share](   [green coconut palm trees on brown sand under blue sky during daytime]( Photo by [Vitor Paladini]( on [Unsplash]( Hello Venturer, Have you ever heard of the Coconut Story? Okay, I will tell it. Once upon a time, a young man dreamed of becoming a great musician but struggled to create good songs. While walking on the beach, he found a coconut and realized it made a beautiful sound. He decided to create a new instrument using coconuts and eventually composed beautiful music that became famous worldwide. And from that day on, coconuts were seen as a symbol of creativity and inspiration, inspiring musicians and artists globally to think outside the box and create something unique. That story highlights the importance of persistence, experimentation, creativity, and resourcefulness. It shows that sometimes the things that make us unique are our greatest strengths, which also aligns with Funmi Tuoyo's coconut story. Funmi’s journey into the world of coconuts began when her mother was diagnosed with cancer and was advised to avoid carbohydrate-dense foods. As she searched for healthier alternatives, she discovered the many wonders of coconuts and how she could use that to create healthier food alternatives for people. In this week’s newsletter, you’ll get to see how Funmi built a coconut village out of a simple discovery. Boluwatife Areola Content Developer, Venturer Africa [Share VA's Newsletter]( What’s new?
