[WrestlingINC.com]( Apr 4   [Save]( [▷  Listen](   Vince McMahon Reportedly 'Firmly Back In Charge' Of Creative During WWE Raw [Vince McMahon appears for interview with CNBC]( Vince McMahon told CNBC over the weekend that he'd no longer be "in the weeds" as it pertains to WWE creative, and that he'd only get involved with "higher level" decisions. However, that wasn't the case during last night's "WWE Raw," the fallout episode from WrestleMania 39 and the first television taping since Endeavor's acquisition of WWE. According to PWInsider, McMahon was "personally and heavily involved" with Monday's show, and ordered "a number of late rewrites" for the show about 15-20 minutes before "Raw" went live on the air. Furthermore, the changes were described as not a "feeling" that talents and staff had come to expect under the regime of Paul "Triple H" Levesque. The report added that changes to the "Raw" script were made even after the show went on air and that they "came directly from McMahon," who had his own office, just as he did before his "retirement" last July.  It was further noted that although last night's show began with Levesque on the headsets, McMahan became "more and more involved" as the point person running the show as the night progressed. For most of the night, McMahon was in Gorilla position, "directly overseeing the proceedings," PWInsider added. This was not the case during WrestleMania 39, where he was on the headset only producing a few segments, but not involved with all decision-making. [Full Story]( --------------------------------------------------------------- WINC Podcast (4/3): Endeavor Purchasing WWE, Raw After WrestleMania Review, More --------------------------------------------------------------- More News Coming off one of the biggest weekends in wrestling, many wondered if and when[Jay White]( would show up. It remains to be seen where that will happen, but a new report suggests it is not WWE as of now. PWI Elite has indicated that based on "multiple conversations with WWE officials and talents," White does not appear to be on his way to the promotion. There was said to be "absolutely no discussion" within the organization over WrestleMania 39 weekend about bringing in the 30-year-old. The bombshell announcement came yesterday as the WWE was sold to Endeavor. Of course, there is a lot that goes into a deal like this, and the[law firm Ademi LLP will be investigating]( to make sure things have been done the right way. Ademi asserts that not only is WWE stock being valued too low in the merger, but also that "[t]he transaction agreement unreasonably limits competing bids for WWE by imposing a significant penalty if WWE accepts a superior bid." Additionally, it asserts that "[w]e are investigating the conduct of WWE's board of directors, and whether they are (i) fulfilling their fiduciary duties to all shareholders, and (ii) obtaining a fair and reasonable price for WWE." Charlotte Flair put on a classic match over the weekend losing her SmackDown Women Championship to Rhea Ripley. Following this, it looks like [The Queen may be taking some time away]( from WWE. PWI Elite is reporting that Flair let the company know this past weekend that she'd be taking another break, with word going around that she and her husband Andrade will spend some time traveling. Roman Reigns shocked the world when he once again retained his WWE Undisputed Universal Heavyweight Championship this past weekend. A new report from the oddsmakers at BetOnline shows [Reigns as the favorite to end 2023 as champion](. The current champ Reigns comes in as the favorite at -115. That's ahead of both "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes and The Rock, who isn't even an active member of the WWE roster, at +200.  Looking for a longshot? Edge, Santos Escobar, Solo Sikoa, Rey Mysterio, and The Brawling Brutes' Butch sit at +10,000. But recent challengers Sami Zayn (+600), Kevin Owens (+500), and Drew McIntyre (+500) sit in a better position to take a bit of risk but see a nice payout.  --------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for reading Wrestling INC!
