This may or may not involve copious amounts of exaggeration and lying. You’re not really going to be drowning in women if you drink the right beer and your kid is probably not going to hug you and tell you that you’re the best mommy ever if you take them to the right fast-food place. Of course, people associate marketing with corporations, but in fact, we all engage in marketing. The girlfriend is trying to convince her boyfriend to marry her, the Jehovah’s Witness is trying to get you to join their church, the capitalist is trying to convince you that capitalism is better than Communism, and the Democrat is trying to convince you to vote for their candidate over the Republican. They all have very different pitches, but whether they look at it that way or not, they’re engaged in marketing. This brings us to the marketing that is being done to so many people to convince them that becoming trans is the solution to their problems. That marketing, in one form or another, is pushed by everyone from randoms on social media, to activists, to corporations, to the Democratic Party to teachers in your kids’ schools. There are two main prongs to it. The first is fairly well known. It’s something akin to: 1) CIS white people are bad… well, unless they’re gay or trans! If you’re gay or trans, people are supposed to be nice to you or they’re bad and you deserve special privileges! The second one is a little more complex and multi-layered. It’s essentially two different ideas combined: 2a) You don’t seem happy and have lots of issues. Maybe the problem is that you’re the wrong gender! If you changed genders, your problems would probably go away. 2b) Men/Women have it easier! If you were the other gender life would be easier. People focus a lot on 2a, but I suspect there’s an awful lot of 2b to go around as well. Some of that comes from feminists, who incessantly work to convince women that the world is run by patriarchy and women have it bad. On the other side of the equation, just the way our dating market works these days, it plays the same role for a lot of men. Unfortunately, if you’re male, the current dating environment has become very skewed towards women, and a large set of men, fairly or unfairly, feel like they’re almost locked out of it. They’re not having sex; they’re not having dates and they feel like they’re so far from that possibility that you might as well be asking them to climb Mt. Everest to pull it off. This is the pool of men that incels and “Black-Pillers” come from, although a lot of them have just quietly given up on trying to date women and are consoling themselves via gaming, porn, alcohol, and drugs. Of course, there’s now a new option for men called, “Transmaxxing” that I [recently was made aware of by a column at Unherd that describes it like so]( A new [report]( from Sanjana Friedman at Pirate Wires documents a phenomenon that’s been a source of discussion among the extremely online for a little while and has now made it into the open. “Transmaxxing” is a subculture of young men who embrace trans identities not because they believe they were ‘born in the wrong body’ but simply because they can, and because they think it’ll make their lives better. There is actually a “[manifesto]( involved. Now, you may be thinking, “Wow, there’s not a lot of good that ever seems to come from ‘manifestos’ and you would be right. This IS NOT going to be the exception either. Still, people need to see the sort of arguments that are resonating so strongly with a certain group of broken, unhappy young men that they’re actually trying to change genders over it. Let’s talk about some of the highlights. First of all, there’s an actual section explaining how as a man, you can start to get used to the idea of being female. Here’s part of that list: How to transition: If you do not currently feel like living as a female you might have to work on fixing that. Identifying as male or being emotionally attached to a male body is bad for you if being male results in you living a bad life. step 0: Begin voice training so you will get a 'female' voice. step 1: watch Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo. step 1: watch Tatsuwan birdy decode. step 2: watch Kashimashi girl meets girl. step 3: watch Kämpfer. step 4: watch Interspecies Reviewers Episode 3 step 5: If you still don't feel like becoming a girl watch tsf monogatari and residence. step 6: As a last resort you can try sissy hypno porn 4 I only have a basic acquaintance with anime, and I know next to nothing about manga, so I was completely unfamiliar with all of the anime/manga recommended here. When I looked them up, they all seemed to revolve around a man becoming a woman somehow. Also, as a side note, I found it interesting that the author seemed to believe it was a terrible idea for women to transition into men and he added this: I just want to say for the record i don't believe in any of the trans bullsh*t about being born that way. Maybe an exceptionally small amount of them are. Yet if you read their forums or subs it's so extremely common how many of them are just guys who wank to shemale porn and have autogynephilia. The vast majority almost always speak about how their brains get changed by hormones. Further proving they are truly male in the brain. Basically they are mostly cross-dressing fetishists. Maybe a very few of them really were born with a f*cked up brain but it's hard to weed out the liars. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day and I’m guessing he’s probably a lot more right than wrong about this particular thing. In fact, I’ve long thought that the Internet is driving the vast majority of this behavior. If the Internet didn’t exist and these people weren’t exposed to weird pornography, manga, fan fiction and forums full of weirdoes pushing this idea non-stop with no rational voices contradicting them, the idea of transitioning would have probably never even crossed the mind of 99.9% of the people who actually went through with it. If you’re wondering why people push kids to transition so hard, this sort of thinking probably has a lot to do with it: As you age testosterone will make you more masculine and it will become increasingly difficult to ever pass, especially as MTF, thus if you already think "maybe i should transition" as a male just do it now before it's too late. You don't really have time to figure out your identity or what causes your dysphoria (if you experience any) or whether or not transition is for you. ...One criticism against letting minors or kids transition is that most will grow out of it as they go through puberty, this does not however mean they wouldn't have benefited from early transition (MtF) sperm can be banked before a child has gone through the full puberty. When you have gone through the full puberty transition will be a lot more difficult and thus a large portion of individuals who would have benefited from medical transition before will no longer do so when puberty is fully over. 13-year-old children born males are absolutely capable of making these decisions with the support of adults, their issue is mostly impulsivity and lack of knowledge, not lack of intelligence. Of course, it has long been known that the [VAST MAJORITY of kids just grow out of thinking they’re the wrong gender]( that is unless bad parents, activists, weird teachers, and forums full of trans activists get their hooks into them first and incessantly push them to transition before they have the chance to change their minds. I could go on with different excerpts from this manifesto, but the short version is it’s a bunch of pseudo-scientific dreck mixed with ill-considered opinions and the idea that guys who transition will be getting laid non-stop (Incidentally, could there be a better pitch to reel in young, sexless males?). Except, there’s a wall of reality big enough to reach into space between the picture the guy writing the manifesto is painting and the real world we actually live in.
