[Josh Belanger](joshbelanger) Jul 10 joshbelanger   [READ IN APP](   Tesla's stock has taken off like one of Musk's SpaceX rockets. In just 10 days, shares have shot up 42%. And guess what? Jim Cramer missed the boat again. Two weeks ago, he said, "I'd rather buy GM over TSLA." Ouch. Cathie Wood, our meme queen, has been selling millions of Tesla shares from Ark Invest. This comes right after Tesla reported second-quarter deliveries that beat forecasts. So, is the rally over? Not so fast. Today, a massive short-term trade caught my eye in TSLA. Someone threw down $17,740,880 on 29,780 of the 275 calls expiring next week. That’s a big bet that Tesla's going higher, with prices closing at $262.33. But here’s the juicy part: this might be a bullish call roll. 32,000 of the 245 calls expiring this Friday were bought at $2.30 per contract, a $7,360,000 outlay. They closed today for $61,248,000. BOOM! This is why I love options trading. If this is a call roll, it’s a pure directional play. Taking profits off the table while keeping some skin in the game for more gains. That’s how you manage risk and profit. It's hard to ignore a bet of this size. Trading alongside this kind of activity can lower your risk compared to going in blind. If you’re looking at this for a quick hit, a day trade might be your best bet. For something that could develop over a few days, consider using a spread to manage your position. Trading options isn’t just about luck. It’s about strategy and timing. Now, if you're sitting there wondering how you can get in on moves like this, it’s simpler than you think. Trading options isn’t just about luck. It’s about strategy, timing, and sometimes, just having the guts to follow the smart money. You don't need to be glued to your screen 24/7 or have a finance degree. With the right guidance, you can make trades that pay off big time. That’s where I come in. Imagine being able to spot these opportunities and act on them confidently. It’s like having a treasure map in the wild world of trading. You follow the clues, make your moves, and watch your profits grow. Want to follow trades like this? Reply with "Hot Money," and I'll send you the order form to get in on the action. Don’t miss out. The next big trade could be just around the corner. Trade smart, Josh Belanger You’re currently a free subscriber.
