Will you be one of the final voyagers to hop aboard this wondrous journey to the oasis of Kumankaya, Mexico? [Apply now to reserve your space]( on this profound adventure with Ayahuasca, Bufo, and your soul family from May 26th - June 1st. [Learn More & Apply for Apotheosis]( It’s a rare opportunity to have an experience that alters the trajectory of your life. Historically, these were reserved for sacred initiations and rites of passage. Apotheosis was this rite of passage for me.  There is a demarkation in my life: Eric before, and Eric after Apotheosis. I am endlessly thankful for what this experience opened up for me. I would not be the man I am today without it.  Apotheosis catalyzed 3 major experiences in me. When they came together through integration, it completely changed my relationship to myself and the world that I thought was possible. 1. A Real, Felt Sense of Belonging (Communitas) In my life before Apotheosis, I was the black sheep. Always on the outside of normal culture. Sometimes I wore this like a badge of pride, but deeper down it hurt.  Why couldn’t I ‘find the others’? Where were the people who shared the same interests, excitements, passions, and projects as me? Sure, some friends shared similar interests, but I was never seen or fully understood. Didn’t I deserve that gift as well? Was something wrong with me? I got a lot of raised eyebrows, blank stares, sometimes outright hostility throughout these years.  Until Apotheosis.  The first-ever Apotheosis group in Costa Rica, 2018. At Apotheosis I was met for the first time. Surrounded by a community of people who shared my interests, who wanted to hear more (not less!) about what I was working on, and who were mature and grounded enough to give me powerful feedback from a place of loving compassion. For the first time, I had a lived experience of belonging somewhere. I knew what community felt like. More than any medicine ceremony or workshop, this was the true gift from Apotheosis. The feeling of being seen, held, supported, loved, and witnessed is arguably the most powerful medicine a human can receive.  This experience opened a doorway for me to run towards my highest excitement, dream bigger, and rapidly accelerate my development with consistent, sharp feedback from peers. 2. An Alternative Way of Being (Ecstasis) The second transformative gift of Apotheosis was a glimpse of the world that I knew was possible, but couldn’t yet articulate.  Being in a space of radical openness and visionary passion showed me all the ways I was settling for a vision of my life that was much too small. It hurt at the beginning, but became an empowering gift with time. Apotheosis showed me the quality of relationships I wanted to have, the future paths that were open to me that I couldn’t quite see, and gave me permission to step into my highest gifts and execute at a level I hadn’t let myself express.  The combination of community, ceremony, and serious work created a nuclear reaction of possibility in my head. I took this energy home with me, and through serious integration work changed how I lived, how I worked, and where I lived. Everything changed. Would this have been possible without the Apotheosis experience? Maybe. Maybe not. It certainly would have been dramatically slower, if these realizations ever arrived on their own. And because I had a direct experience of a better, more holistic way of living, it gives me the unyielding passion, energy, and inspiration needed to build this reality every day. 3. Deep Healing (Catharsis) Last—but in no way least—was the sacred and safe haven Apotheosis afforded me. A chance, for really the first time, to look into myself and heal the wounds that I carried. In our first breathwork ceremony, I spent the entire session revisiting a major car accident I had almost 6 years earlier. I thought I was past all of that – but my body wasn’t. This introduced me to the incredible power of somatic experiencing, learning viscerally how much of our trauma is stored in the body.  The workshops catalyzed realizations about my intimate relationships, my family dynamic, and my (lack of) connection with Life itself. Like seeds lovingly planted, I took these home with me, and began taking steps to improve my relationships, deepen my spiritual practice, and continue the healing work that needed to be done. Soul Sanctuary Apotheosis was a Soul Sanctuary. A retreat from the overstimulating demands of everyday life. It’s a sacred pause that let me to take stock of who I was and what I truly wanted.  It helped relieve me of the weight of my past, opened up a magnificent future through transcendent experiences and insights, and rooted me in a community of open-hearted, loving souls. The only thing I can say to Apotheosis is Thank You.  I have dedicated my life since to providing experiences like this for others, while striving every day to become a living, breathing example of the possibility of this work.  I believe in it fully, and my Life is a living testament to it.
