[So Auckland] Kia ora Aucklanders! It’s that time of year when we look to the sea with extra delight - whether it’s swimming, surfing, boating, diving or fishing, now’s the time to make the most of all that wonderful sparkly salt water. Keen fisherpeople may already have a favourite location to cast off and you’re probably keeping it close to your chest, but we‘re guessing a few of you might be new to our fair City of Sails or got your first rod for Christmas, so [here are our picks for places to hook your dinner]. And if you’re keen to master the art of cooking seafood at home, Auckland Seafood School has [classes running right through the summer], from barbecue and grilling to Thai, Vietnamese and Japanese, all with a delicious fishy focus from salmon to scallops. Enjoy your week and be waterwise!
