Twitter Users Expect “Another Pop” From Pharmaceutical Microcap

Market volatility is leading to plenty of interest in emerging penny picks, however, and day traders on social media were actively following some interesting gainers. (NASDAQ:KALA)'s run began on Tuesday after the company announced that its “EYSUVIS® [is] Now Covered on UnitedHealthcare Commercial and Cigna Medicare.” The pharmaceutical microcap jumped another 33% with 10X volume on Friday for five-day gains of 171%. Twitter users were incredibly upbeat about it on Friday, saying that the company “was a winner today” and cheering its “resurrection” after a steady fall from above $6 back in June 2021.
