What I did to prepare for a setup and potential trade in advance… ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ Good Morning! I prayed for Spirit Airlines, Inc. (NYSE: SAVE) and Digital World Acquisition Corp. (NASDAQ: DWAC) to gap down yesterday morning. That might be confusing to you… Because you probably know that I love to look for strong stocks. But there are certain times when some morning weakness is actually a good thing… It has to be in specific stocks, and this time of year is the perfect time to look for it. So let’s dive into the only time I like to look for a gap down, why I was praying for two yesterday, and how you can use this strategy for the next few weeks… It’s earnings season and Tesla, Inc. (NASDAQ: TSLA) could drop some huge news in its earnings announcement after the close — [see the details I’ve uncovered here and stay ahead of the curve]( Sponsored It’s Time to Stop Missing Out If you’re not using Ben Sturgill’s Spyder Scanner, you’re missing out on huge trade opportunities every week. [RESERVE YOUR SPOT HERE]( When Is A Gap Down A Good Thing? As a penny stock trader, you look for gap-ups every day in low floats. It’s the main sign that proves the stock can spike… But when you're talking about [higher float, real stocks]( like Spirit Airlines, Inc. (NYSE: SAVE) and Digital World Acquisition Corp. (NASDAQ: DWAC) it’s tough to buy gap ups — especially when they’re green multiple days in a row. So yesterday I was praying for some sort of pullback. Then I can look for confirmation of more potential upside when it goes from [red to green]( That proves that [buyers are still in control](. Let me show you what I mean with these two stock examples… When Weakness Sets Up a Better Trade SAVE opened green and had a morning spike out of the gate yesterday... I don’t like to chase those kinds of moves in large float stocks that are up for multiple days. It just sets you up to buy the top and have the stock inevitably fail on you. So I like to watch stocks that have a morning spike for an [afternoon VWAP hold](. SAVE failed in the afternoon, so there was no trade either way on this one. SAVE chart: 1-day, 5-minute candle — courtesy of [StocksToTrade.com]( On the other hand, DWAC opened red, which was ideal… It consolidated along VWAP most of the day and went from red to green in the afternoon. It’s a repeatable pattern you can use for these larger float real stocks… Look at the move it had after it went green. DWAC chart: 1-day, 5-minute candle — courtesy of [StocksToTrade.com]( It doesn’t look like much on the chart but that's an almost $10 per share move! Waiting for the right pattern allows you to enter and ride a piece of the predictable move, then move on to the next. Otherwise, you’re just guessing and hoping a trade works for you. And as you can see from these two examples, they had completely opposite moves and results. Don't trade randomness. We’re heading into [the juiciest part of earnings season]( with Tesla, Inc. (NASDAQ: TSLA) and other big names dropping earnings in the next few weeks… The red-to-green pattern is one of my favorite patterns to look for in real stocks this time of year. And my standard approach to these real stocks is to wait for confirmation before entering a trade. I look for the same core patterns every day. [Study them in my ebook here](.
