Here’s what OPEC’s news means for you!                 Â

Here’s what OPEC’s news means for you!                                                                                                                                                                      Good Morning! The market got hit with some surprising news yesterday morning… Oil had its biggest gain in over a year after [OPEC+ announced production cuts](. That means increased costs for fuel… And that adds even more expenses to everyday folks already struggling with high inflation that’s increasing the cost of groceries, housing, and basically everything. So what does this mean for the markets? And are there trade opportunities as a result? I identified some yesterday in my morning webinar. Here’s what I’m watching and what the headlines could mean for this sector going forward… Is Oil The Next Hot Sector? Analysts are now projecting that [oil could go back to $100]( per barrel. That’s good news for oil-producing companies… So while we already have a [hot sector]( with artificial intelligence stocks, I thought yesterday all eyes would be on oil stocks. I was watching Indonesia Energy Corporation Limited (NYSE: [INDO](... It’s a huge former runner, it has a very [low float]( and it was trading good volume in premarket. I was eyeing the $6.55 level for a possible entry… It’s a half-dollar level and it was Oracle’s resistance level. You can see it briefly broke above that level but it was before 9:45 a.m. And [I showed you yesterday]( how you don’t have to get in any play early in this market… So using [my rule]( would’ve kept you safe in this one. INDO chart: 1-day, 5-minute candle — courtesy of [StocksToTrade.com]( Imperial Petroleum Inc. (NASDAQ: [IMPP]( is another small-cap oil stock. It’s a true penny stock though and they aren’t my favorite. So when it comes to them, I say follow the Oracle levels. Oracle had a buy signal of 25 cents and IMPP couldn’t break above it. You could’ve saved yourself a loss here if you waited for that level… IMPP chart: 1-day, 5-minute candle — courtesy of [StocksToTrade.com]( If you prefer to swing trade, Occidental Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: [OXY]( and Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE: [XOM]( were two [large-cap]( names running on the news. So you may be wondering why I’m showing you two plays that didn’t work out… First, it shows you how waiting for the right timing and levels can not only give you winning trades but also prevent losing ones… And second, because although I liked the oil stocks yesterday since they were moving on surprise news, I also told [SteadyTrade Team members]( in my morning webinar that I think [artificial intelligence stocks]( have more legs than the oil sector. Everyone is talking about AI right now. It’s hitting large-cap stocks and small-caps. And last week the stocks proved that they can run. Oil stocks are still hanging around. But now I want them to prove they can spike before I consider more trades for them. With increased oil prices adding to already high prices — there’s no better time to become a trader! Start taking your education seriously by [staying in tune with the market]( and seeing what’s hot and what’s not… I cover it all three times a week in my [Market Update videos](. And access to my videos also includes a ton of other bonuses… [Check it all out here](. Have a great day everyone. See you back here tomorrow.
