BBBY bagholders take note… Good Morning! You can’t just buy a stock with no plan and expect it to work out each time… But what really bugs me is hearing traders who nail the trade but fail to take profits, only to incur significant losses. Greed kills in the stock market. So if you lost money in Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. (NASDAQ: [BBBY]( or any of the other short squeeze stocks last week, pay attention… I’ll show you how you can avoid holding the bag next time while stacking wins, and building your account up. Note for Gmail users: If you’ve been missing out on the Daily Accelerator, check your promotions folder then click the three dots in the top right and move the email to your inbox. Don’t Be a Believer As day traders, we [take advantage of short-term stock movements](. We don’t believe in the company. And we don’t believe in some BS price target random Twitter users or analysts throw out there... These stocks are just trading vehicles. They’re four letters. And BBBY was just a pump… Whether it’s by [meme stonk traders]( on social media, venture capitalists, or some kid trading with their dad’s money… Don’t believe any of it. In the [SteadyTrade Team]( we knew what BBBY was from the beginning… It was a watch for dip and rips, red-to-green moves, breaks above the previous day's highs, and other [patterns](. But that’s it. It was no different than any other stock … (look at RDBX for example.) And we knew how it was going to end. I’m proud of that... Because hopefully, if you follow the process I teach, it prevents you from holding a loser like BBBY. But if you don’t listen to me, there’s another way you could’ve avoided the BBBY destruction… Follow The News While headlines of a [venture capitalist taking a position]( in a stock can create trading opportunities to the upside… You also have to follow the news on the other side and know when it’s time to get out. The [Breaking News News Chat]( team sent out two alerts before BBBY tanked. One when RC Ventures filed to sell shares. Another was when a [SEC filing]( showed the venture capitalist owned zero shares. Look at this pain you could’ve avoided. Both alerts went out right before BBBY fell off a cliff. If you’re a [subscriber]( you don't have to wait until the next morning to go to your computer and see the massive gap down. The news is delivered right to your platform. Sadly, there are a lot of people out there who don’t follow a plan, don’t have [Breaking News]( and just hold and hope... I don’t want you to be one of them. If you are holding a loser, drop the bag and start fresh… Trade with a plan, [use stop losses]( and take profits when you have them. Then [track your data]( along the way. And you’re always welcome to join me daily for coaching in the [SteadyTrade Team](. Have a great Money Monday, everyone. I’ll see you back here tomorrow.
