Tuesday Update!

Hello {NAME}! Nope, these aren’t vaccines...these are liquid cultures of mushrooms! Lion’s Mane, Reishi, Pink Oyster and Chaga. The past few weeks, I’ve been diving deep in the world of mycology, studying how to cultivate mushrooms from spores. My fascination with the mysterious world of fungi began when I watched the award-winning documentary, Fantastic Fungi on Netflix. The mushrooms you see on the surface of the earth is just a tiny portion of the life this film explores. The magical network of fungi connects tree roots and plants to water and nutrients, sharing resources amongst the underground living organisms. If you haven’t watched this film, I highly recommend it! I’ll be sharing my progress of cultivation. Mycology is hobby that requires quite a bit of patience...something that I don’t often have haha! Flatten Out In Freezer Bags! Next time you are freezing ground beef or other meat, separate into serving portions of your choice, put in freezer bags, then flatten out as much as possible.
