Well, it looks like Vice President Kamala Harris has finally came out of hiding, but it looks like it was another crash and burn. NBC News' chief political analyst [Chuck Todd]( has taken Harris to task for her puzzling decision to avoid the spotlight for nearly 40 days into her presidential campaign. Now, she's had her first big interview with CNN's Dana Bash, but according to Todd, this is already shaping up to be a misstep. In a piece on NBC News' website, Todd didn't mince words, calling it a "mistake" that Harris has been laying low for so long. The delay, he argues, has only "raised the stakes" for this interview, turning what could have been a routine media appearance into a high-pressure event where every word will continue to be scrutinized. And let's face it, Harris isn't exactly known for handling high-pressure moments with grace. Todd suggested that Harris should take a page from Donald Trump's 2016 playbook-you know, back when Trump was a media whirlwind, doing interviews with everyone from left to right, friendly or not.
