Folks, it looks like Vice President Kamala Harris has a bit of a branding problem, and it's not just the usual suspects pointing it out. Don Lemon, of all people, laid it out during a chat on Jen Psaki's MSNBC show. Now, you'd think this would be a friendly space for Harris, but the truth slipped through, and it wasn't pretty. Lemon took a little road trip through some key states-places like Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana, while on his way to Chicago-and what he found wasn't exactly a ringing endorsement for the VP. Psaki, trying her best to steer the conversation, asked him what folks thought of Harris. Now, she probably expected the usual media spin, but Lemon didn't deliver that. Instead, he dropped a truth bomb: a lot of people just don't know who she is. Can you believe that? In states that could decide the next election, Harris is almost a non-entity. Lemon went on to say that in places like Pittsburgh, Atlantic City, and especially Ohio, people just aren't familiar with Harris. That's a major problem for someone a heartbeat away from the presidency. On the other hand, those same people had strong opinions about former President Trump, and guess what? They think he's better for the economy and believe he's on their side. That's the kind of loyalty Harris can only dream of. Psaki's been pushing this idea of Harris as some sort of joyful change agent with a "magical charismatic quality"-comparing her to, wait for it, Hillary Clinton.
