Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) took to MSNBC's "Inside" to drop some fiery rhetoric, and, surprise, surprise, she's pointing fingers at MAGA and Donald Trump for pretty much everything under the sun. According to Crockett, Trump is apparently single-handedly ushering in "hell" to the doorsteps of everyday Americans, specifically Springfield, thanks to his decision to "amplify a lie on a national debate stage." Not much clarity on what lie she's referring to, but when in doubt, blame MAGA, right? Now, let's pause for a second. In Crockett's world, MAGA is apparently the greatest domestic threat facing the United States. Forget about the southern border crisis, inflation, skyrocketing crime, or even the geopolitical mess in Ukraine. Nope, the real issue is a movement that, like it or not, represents a massive swath of the American electorate. Calling millions of Americans a "domestic threat" is not just inflammatory-it's a reckless, broad-brush approach that makes the divide in this country even deeper. Funny how "unity" was supposedly on the table when her party was elected. "Springfield is going through hell, but they are going through hell because the guy who says he wants to be the commander-in-chief is actually bringing that hell to their footsteps. He decided amplify a lie on a national debate stage and that harming American citizens and that is a problem. When I talk about MAGA, I talk about the fact that when we finally swore in, we swore to defend against those that are coming against us, whether they are domestic or international. Right now, I feel like MAGA, in general, is a threat to us domestically. We see time and time again," Crockett said. She even went on to claim that Trump is the guy who "stokes domestic terrorism." Bomb threats? Domestic terrorism? Crockett seems to believe that anyone wearing a red hat is a danger to national security, conveniently ignoring that violent crime and actual threats to public safety have exploded under Democrat-led cities across the country. But no, let's focus on MAGA and Trump instead of addressing the chaos that's actually taking place in liberal strongholds. "The problem isn't the people coming in, but this guy and his people here doing the bomb threats throughout our country, and domestic terrorism is a real thing, and he is the guy that stokes it." And let's not overlook her shot at Trump for allegedly being unable to say he wanted Ukraine to win during a debate. Perhaps she missed the fact that foreign policy is a bit more nuanced than cheering on teams in a football game. But hey, the Dems have been pretty consistent on making everything black and white: "If you don't agree with us, you're the enemy." Jasmine Crockett is easily one of the dumbest members of Congress. How do these incompetent, largely illiterate people get elected? We need a major upgrade in talent among our elected representatives. [pic.twitter.com/bqWVjb0olH]( - Forgotten (@gunsandcash) [September 15, 2024]( [Crockett's narrative]( is just the latest in a long line of attempts to demonize anyone who dares to support Trump or the MAGA movement. Instead of focusing on real solutions or bringing people together, it's easier to throw out labels like "domestic threat" and stoke the flames of division. This isn't leadership. It's pandering to the MSNBC echo chamber. I'm not interested in "the rhetoric on both sides" today. Trump is the target. He's survived two assassination attempts. He's in danger and it's probably too late to de-radicalize everyone who thinks the country will end if he wins.
