Always trying to script the "unscripted" and somehow still managing to look more rehearsed than a high school play. Apparently, she spent weeks plotting how to stage a viral, off-the-cuff moment in her debate with Donald Trump. Yes, you read that right-planning a spontaneous moment. If that doesn't sum up Harris in a nutshell, I don't know what does. It's like trying to schedule a surprise party for yourself and acting shocked when everyone jumps out. Let's talk about how this "strategy" actually played out. Harris, in her grand effort to look "strong," basically ended up chasing Trump around the stage like a lost puppy. The plan? To corner him for a handshake. The result? She looked like she was trying to catch the ice cream truck. Whoever told her that walking across the stage like that would make her look tough must have missed the memo on basic debate dynamics. Pro tip: when you're the one chasing after someone, they're the one in control. That's Debate 101. And speaking of control, [Harris]( apparently didn't have much of it. From dodging questions like she was in a political game of Twister to rehashing tired talking points, it was clear she was running out of steam. Even Frank Luntz-the king of focus groups-called her out for not answering anything directly. When Frank says you're avoiding the issues, you know it's bad. DID YOU KNOW: Reuters conducted a post-debate focus-group of undecided voters. FACT: Kamala refused to discuss key issues affecting hardworking Americans. FACT: 60% of the undecided voters say Trump won last night's debate. FACT: Undecided voters will decide the 2024 Election. It was almost laughable how much they leaned her way. But even with that assist, she still managed to look rattled, complete with those awkward facial expressions that didn't exactly scream "confidence." At one point, she looked like she was just waiting for her pre-planned "I'm talking!" moment-the same one she clearly practiced in the mirror for weeks. But leave it to Trump to beat her to the punch. As she tried to make some noise while he was talking, Trump hit her with her own line, "I'm talking!" And just like that, her big viral moment vanished into thin air. ????BREAKING: Donald Trump just shocked and silenced Kamala Harris after using her famous 'I'm talking' quote against her debate with Mike Pence. Trump just pulled a reverse Uno that was very symbolic. 'I'M TALKING NOW.' [pic.twitter.com/j9toXU4H5l]( - Dom Lucre | Breaker of Narratives (@dom_lucre) [September 11, 2024]( Trump 1, Harris 0.
