July 21, 1986: Darrell Bearson, center, owner of the Spring Lake Terrace mobile home park in Spring Lake Park, tells residents he will provide keys for the park's emergency shelter to each of the park's 100 mobile homes. Three days earlier, about 30 residents found themselves locked out of the shelter, with no manager on the premises, as warning sirens wailed and three tornadoes bore down on the park.
