Moriarty told the Star Tribune's Andy Mannix the decision came in response to a prosecution expert's analysis of video from the scene and recent statements from Londregan's defense attorney. The case has been a lightning rod since Londregan was first charged in January. Moriarty became the center of criticism as the trooper's attorney, Chris Madel, called her "out of control" in a video. Gov. Tim Walz expressed concerns over the case's handling shortly after the Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association asked him to have the Attorney General's Office to take over the prosecution. Walz in a statement said he supported Moriarty's decision. Mannix has all of the [details about Moriarty's decision here](. The Lynx are off to the best start to a season in four years after the team fended off the Wings at Target Center to take Sunday's game, 87-76. The standout player? It was 5-5 guard, Olivia Époupa, who played just under 14 minutes, scored four points, only had one rebound and two assists. But she "completely, utterly" changed the course of the game, reporter Kent Youngblood writes, as she sped up the Lynx offense. With a 6-2 record, the team is one of the top three in the WNBA. â the minnesota goodbye Have you ever driven down a side street and wondered to yourself how it got its name? Local web developer Sean Oleary has a thread for you. No, he doesn't explain how streets, boulevards and avenues gained their monikers. Rather, he rates their names based on how accurately they describe the street. Tap or click on the image above to see the full thread. It's a hoot. I frequent Franklin Avenue in Minneapolis and not once have I seen a man wearing bifocals fly a kite during a thunderstorm. 0/10.
