Because this isn't a business, this is a get-rich-quick algorithm arbitrage. Everyone and their mom is gonna try it. Which will cause it to become harder and harder to work and be profitable. There is no barrier to entry, no moat. You don't even need to have your own brand! And that is precisely why it won't last long. The only people that will actually make money from this are the people teaching you how to do it. And that's exactly what happened in the actual California gold rush. Who actually got wealthy? The businesses who sold the shovels. Levi Strauss (Levi's- the jeans!) made a fortune in the California gold rush, without ever panning for gold. Why? Because he solved a real problem.
