Let's make the future fair for everyone. in partnership with MAP.]( [GET INVOLVED]( Did you know? 235k+ People are homeless each year. 20% are youth between the ages of 16 and 24. 1M+ People go without basic essentials or food so that they can afford to fill their prescriptions. 1 in 5 Kids live in poverty. Staples Canada and MAP have come together to raise awareness of inequity in Canada and to help build vibrant, healthy communities. Even the Odds launched last year and the campaign raised $1 million during its inaugural year, thanks to the support and generosity of our customers, associates and vendors, as well as a corporate match donation. How donations will impact our community Even the Odds has already begun making an impact by funding research and solutions throughout Canada, including the following research projects: [icon] [icon] Ending chronic homelessness A leadership program for young people who are exiting homelessness. Creating a healthy start for kids A health promotion school program for kids in disadvantaged neighbourhoods. [icon] [icon] Better access to healthcare and medicine A national initiative to draw the blueprint for a more equitable primary care system. Clinique Mauve in Québec A specialized health clinic in Montreal for racialized and migrant communities who identify as LGBTQI+. Staples will launch its in-store fundraising effort from May 2 to 22, 2022.
