After all, church membership has been steadily declining since the 1960s. What are people doing instead? Well, the average American spends 7 hours and 4 minutes per day staring at a screen. And there's no mystery as to why people are looking for an escape... - Drug use and domestic violence numbers are up... and people are fleeing cities like New York, where there was a 97% increase in shooting incidents in 2020. - [Every type of consumer debt is currently sitting at all-time highs: Credit card, auto, mortgage, student...]( - And sports betting on live games, which was illegal in most states just five years ago, has increased ten-fold in the last three years. It feels like America is giving up. As Napoleon famously said, "Religion is what keeps the poor from murdering the rich." Our founder, Porter Stansberry, would disagree.
