Dear SHF Mothers, The mothers who make up the Stand for Health Freedom team stand on the shoulders o

Dear SHF Mothers, The mothers who make up the Stand for Health Freedom team stand on the shoulders of other great mothers who have fought for our children, our freedom, our health, and our country. We are so blessed to have learned from other amazing women who laid the groundwork to protect the futures of our communities and our children. Our desire is to pay it forward. It’s an honor to stand with so many great mothers, including our state partners who are a wealth of information for their communities. Thank you to each of you for your compassionate commitment. Each mother reading this message is strong and capable of caring for her children. You are free to make decisions for the health and well-being of your children and to care for them as you see best. This is the essence of what it means to love and be loved. As for me, my thirteenth year of motherhood has been the most rewarding yet. My daughter MJ was born into my own arms around this time last year. In 2011 and 2016, when my boys were born, I felt clumsy and couched the whole newborn year of the boys' lives with claims that "I'm just not good at this part." I envied my baby-whisperer friends! I entered MJ's first year with similar fears, but slowly my beliefs about being a mother to an infant changed. And my confidence that I am capable of meeting her needs grew. Motherhood will always be clumsy and riddled with mistakes, but when I quiet the demands of the world and recognize that MJ is my most important, sacred, and proud responsibility, my baby and I are divinely connected and joyfully bonded. Mom, you have everything it takes. As one of my dear friends, Kristi W. from PA, says, "You are your child's strongest advocate and the only one qualified to fill the role." ([See below for Kristi's Top 5 Health Freedom Rules for Mothers](.) No matter what challenges our children may face in life, as moms we must believe we’ve been equipped by our Creator with everything we need to help our children navigate those obstacles and thrive. To all the mothers, I hope that you know today and every day that you are a queen. [Download Top 5]( Happy Mother's Day!
