At the end of 2023, we launched a national call-to-action (CTA) in [support of the Prime Act]( which tells Congressional leaders that we need to give local control back to our farmers. As a result, we now have three Congressional House Representatives and one U.S. Senator signed on to the bill: - Representative Celeste Maloy from Utah - Representative Andrew Clyde from Georgia - Representative John Carter from Texas - and U.S. Senator Peter Welch from Vermont Please keep sharing the CTA and educating your friends and family. Our voices are being heard! Preserving food integrity. We are supporting a powerful and innovative bill in the Tennessee legislature that would classify food with vaccines inside them as a drug. We are honored to partner with two battleground states in their work to safeguard exemptions. - West Virginia: Just this week, a pivotal bill on childhood exemptions was close to passing! Unfortunately, the Governor vetoed the bill at the 11th hour. But we won’t stop fighting and plan on coming back stronger than ever next year in defense of religious freedom. - California: Our partners at A Voice for Choice Advocacy have officially filed a lawsuit in hopes to overturn a bad law in the state that removed their religious and philosophical exemptions. SHF, along with our state partners and thousands of advocates, have successfully stopped a permanent mask mandate from going into effect through the Department of Labor in North Carolina.
