New IRCTC Train Reservation Rules That Will Come Into Effect From October 10 Starting October 10, the Indian Railways is set to change some reservation rules to allow more reservations and commute facilities to the passengers. These rules will allow people to opt for train seats even before five minutes of train departure. Now that the chart will be prepared before 30 minutes of train departure, seats will be available even five minutes before the train leaves the station. As of tomorrow, these charts will be prepared between 30 minutes to 5 minutes before the scheduled departure, tickets can be booked during this time.
