[Squaw Alpine]( [Squaw Alpine] Tahoe Ski and Ride Report Thursday, February 23, 2017 This has been an intense storm week! Operations have been affected by power outages, downed trees, substantial rime ice buildup and a whole lot of digging! Yesterday was the start of brief window of calm weather. We were able to reopen KT-22 and Scott. The snow was DEEP off of Scott! We laid down some sweet powder tracks, hooting and hollering the whole way down. We plan to reopen more terrain today and we have 12 lifts on schedule at Alpine Meadows and 21 lifts on schedule at Squaw Valley. We do anticipate some delayed openings today. Please be patient while Patrol completes control work and lift ops finishes snow and ice removal. We have few calm days ahead of us to enjoy the fresh snow before another big cold storm rolls through on Saturday. We’re expecting another 1-2 feet!
