Database Weekly for December 18, 2021 Problems displaying this newsletter? [View online](. [Database Weekly]( The Complete Weekly Roundup of SQL Server News by SQLServerCentral.com Hand-picked content to sharpen your professional edge Editorial  Tell Your Loved Ones You Care The Data Platform community lost a couple of people this week. Euan Garden and Dean Vargas. These were good people. They're going to be sorely missed. While I wanted to say something profound about them, I don't think I can do them justice. They were both simply good. The kind of people you want to be around. The kind of people you want to emulate. I'm not sure what else I can add to that. Instead, I want to encourage you to cherish those around you that you care for. Let them know you care. It's sad, and more than a little horrifying, to say, but you might not get a second chance. Me, I'm off to give my wife another hug. She's been getting a lot of those this week. Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
