[Image] Big-Tech Earnings Are Here! Let’s see what’s cooking in the world of smart money this week… In today’s Dark Money Trades rundown: - 📈 How one expert trader taught 23 everyday people how to make $100 million in four years… - 💰 2 fascinating smart-money bets I can’t ignore right now… - 🔫 Ben’s Bullets – 3 juicy TRADE IDEAS for this week! 🐢 [Dark Money Scoop: ‘The Turtles’ Turn A Fortune’]( 🤑 Today, I want to tell you the incredible story of a little-known commodities trader named Richard Dennis… He believed something different from many people at the time. He thought that anyone could learn how to be a great trader, just like how anyone can learn math or science in school. One day, he made a bet with his friend, William. William believed that only people born with special skills could be top traders. To prove his point, Richard did an experiment. He put an ad in the newspaper asking for people who wanted to learn trading. He didn't look for experts. He wanted everyday people. Of all the people who applied, he picked 23. They were called "The Turtles." Some were musicians, some were security guards, and some played games for a living. He taught them how to trade for two weeks, gave them some money to start with, and let them go. And guess what happened next? These Turtles, with their new knowledge, earned over $100 million in just four years! This was like students in school getting all A’s because of a great teacher. Richard's experiment showed that with the right teacher and diligent studying, anyone can be a world-class trader. Why am I telling you this story today? I got my Master’s in teaching because I believe so much in the power of a great teacher. I love to teach. Nothing gets me more excited than seeing my students succeed. And Dennis proved that if you stick with it and stay disciplined, you can. I want my trading students to be my ‘turtles.’ Let’s crush the options market together! 💰 The biggest smart-money bets of the week 💰 🔴 $1 million bearish bet on the AMZN OCT 27th $115 puts (seen on 10/25) Tech giant Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) is reporting earnings after the bell today, and one trader is betting that the results are gonna disappoint… On Wednesday morning, my scanner caught a $1 million+ bet on weekly AMZN puts. This trader is betting that AMZN will drop 7 points and trade below $115 by this Friday, October 27. And based on Wednesday’s price action, which saw tech getting destroyed (and AMZN drop 4.5% within the first three hours of trading), this trader might be onto something… After seeing this trade, another bearish, big-tech earnings bet caught my attention… 🔴 $428k bearish bet on the GOOG OCT 27th $125 puts (seen on 10/25) Yesterday, Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG) reported Q1 earnings and subsequently dropped nearly 10% on the day. The company beat both sales and profit estimates, but its [cloud business missed analyst’s estimates]( causing GOOG stock to tank and bring the entire Nasdaq down with it. And right after the release of the numbers, my scanner detected a MASSIVE sweep in weekly GOOG puts. One trader is betting that there’s considerably more near-term downside in store for GOOG by buying a big batch of weekly $125 puts (when the stock was trading near $128). In other words, this smart-money trader thinks GOOG will continue to slide into the end of the week and trade below $125 by this Friday. 🔫 Ben’s Bullets for the Day 3 interesting trade ideas I’m keeping an eye on this week: - HOOD NOV 17th $9 calls - CLF OCT 27th $16 calls - SNAP OCT 27th $12 calls Earnings season is heating up, traders! There’s a lot of opportunity in the market right now. And speaking of opportunities… If you missed my special broadcast with Tim Bohen on Tuesday … you’re in luck. You still have a chance to see the phenomenon set to take place on November 1st that will cause almost $1 trillion to change hands … and present “in the know” traders an opportunity to see a year’s worth of explosive gains… In just 11 days.
