An online auction [on GunBroker.com] of serial #1 of 1,000 in the series went live May 1 and has reached a high bid of more than $17,000. All proceeds from the auction, which concludes at 3 p.m., this Saturday during NRAAM 2016, will go to benefit the [Chris Kyle Frog Foundation]. Auction participants may take part in the event online or in person at the Springfield Armory® booth at 2 p.m., on Saturday, May 21. Chris's wife, Taya Kyle will be on-hand, along with Springfield Armory® President and CEO Dennis Reese, to award the winner the pistol (if winner is present). Upon completion of the auction, Springfield Armory® will present a check to Taya Kyle for the full amount of the auction proceeds.
