The ground-breaking European data protection regulation, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), is now a year old and its impact continues to reverberate worldwide. Privacy and security issues are at the forefront of the public debate and GDPR has spawned consumer-focused privacy legislation in the US, specifically the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), which is fast becoming a US model. At Splunk, we continue to innovate and advance solutions to help our customers secure their data and act on its insights. We have welcomed two new companies into the Splunk family, VictorOps and Phantom, to enhance our capabilities. We have now folded into our new Splunk Privacy and Cookie Policies their data collection and use practices, as well as added a few enhancements to keep pace with global demands.
