A special discount for our loyal Southern Living readers. Dear Friends: It’s been a busy summer

A special discount for our loyal Southern Living readers. [Southern Living]( [Southern Living]( Dear Friends: It’s been a busy summer around here. Yes, I’ve spent some down time in my favorite places, like Brevard, North Carolina, Pawleys Island, South Carolina, and my former home city of Charleston, but our team has also been working hard to get ready for the fall. We have more exciting things planned in the Lowcountry this year than we ever have, and we’d love for you to join us. The biggest news is that we’re partnering with our friends at Food & Wine and Travel & Leisure on a weekend-long event called the Food & Wine Classic in Charleston (September 27-29). It’s going to be three incredible days of chef demonstrations, wine tastings, curated dinners, and celebrations of Charleston culture. Celebrity chefs and wine makers from all over the country are coming in to join us, and plenty of talented locals will be rolling out the welcome mat. As a Southern Living loyalist, we’re offering you [50% off weekend passes with code MEMBERSONLY]( but tickets are limited, so be sure to act soon. On Saturday, September 28, we’re hosting the Southern Living Lowcountry Tailgate at Kiawah River, an epic night with some of the South’s best pitmasters, an oyster roast, big TV screens for watching football (Georgia is playing Alabama), and a great band from Nashville. In true Lowcountry style, this event will take place on the grounds of the new Dunlin Hotel under live oak trees with views of the marsh. The venue is also a short walk from our 2024 Idea House, which will be open for special tours as part of the ticket. My good friend Jacqueline Gifford, Editor-in-Chief of Travel & Leisure, will also be hosting the Style Stroll, an exclusive shopping tour of the city’s best boutiques, with a chance to meet the makers, hear their stories, and explore Charleston’s most historic streets. It’s going to be an action-packed weekend and a grand celebration of my favorite place in the world, so I hope to see you there. Best, Sid Please note that the Lowcountry Tailgate and the Style Stroll are standalone events that require a separate ticket from the weekend passes. Space is limited so be sure to [grab them while you can]( [Get 50% Off Passes with Code MEMBERSONLY]( Sid Evans Editor-in-Chief IG: [@sidmemphis]( [Southern Living logo]( [Facebook]( [Instagram]( [Twitter]( [Pinterest]( [YouTube]( [TikTok]( [[microphone]Follow our food + music podcast 'Biscuits & Jam']( [Unsubscribe from Membership Updates]( [Manage My Subscriptions]( We independently evaluate all recommended products and services.
