The Latest news on SAR [SonyAlphaRumors_logo_two-1] Display problems? [Open this email in your web browser.]( Good Morning reader! Latest Rumors on SonyAlphaRumors.com [twitter]( [facebook]( Sony will soon announce a new VERY compact and light 70-200mm f/4.0 lens with macro! This info comes from one reliable and one new source: Sony will soon announce a completely redesigned [70-200mm f/4.0 G lens](. It has two important new features: - macro capability - It will be lighter and more compact than the [current 70-200mm G lens](. I believe this could be a real hotseller! I got this from a new source: Every time a camera with a new sensor comes out, we (Sony) prioritize new production lots with new process routes into the system. This is happening more recently with new stacked sensor. I don't know the details, but what I can say for sure is that we are prioritizing the new full-frame stacked sensor. The way the route is seen is quite different from other stacked sensors, so it can be said that it uses new technology. This sort of thing usually happens in our fab about three months before a new camera launches. So I guess we can expect a new full frame stack camera coming soon (maybe a9iii?) Hope this information is useful! And this is from a second new source: Had a chat with a sony rep at a university event who seemed to suggest that a new a9III wouldn't have the articulating screen that a7rV has as stills photographer seemed to prefer the older style. With this in mind, he seemed to suggest that proRes for video won't be included. He framed it like there was gonna be a move with the a9 and a1 series to purely pro stills cameras dropping decent support for video. My thoughts on these two rumors in my latest video ([don't forget to subscribe my youtube channel]( [Read more]( Message to source: Thanks for the lens specs info! You also know about the next Sony cameras? A new source just sent me some detailed info about a new Sony lens. And I know he is correct because a trusted source confirmed it's true. The new source sent me a message through the anonymous contact box and I can only reach him out here on public. So I am asking him now if he also knows some info about the soon to be announced two new Sony cameras. Thanks! [Read more]( Sony camera registrations update: two more Sony cameras coming very soon! As you know Sony had registered three new cameras codes in China. One of them has now been confirmed to be the newly announced ZV-E1 - WW694956 2.4GHz/5.1GHz Bluetooth ([Sony ZV-E1]( - WW542541 2.4GHz/5.1GHz Bluetooth (which I suspect to be the new High End APS-C camera). - WW198387 2.4GHz Bluetooth (should be something "video centric") And now a teaser: Today I am off hiking, but tomorrow I will start to post the next bunch of rumors about the A9III, new "video E-mount cameras", new lenses and more!
