The Latest news on SAR [SonyAlphaRumors_logo_two-1] Display problems? [Open this email in your web browser.]( Good Morning reader! Latest Rumors on SonyAlphaRumors.com [twitter]( [facebook]( Likely first tiny image of the Sony ZV-E1 and new confirmed specs! A SAR reader (Thanks!) spotted what might be the first small piece of image showing the ZV-E1. This has been shared by a[Instagrammer](. He also told me what he learned from this image: - big back wheel - red REC button on top - second button looks like front/back focus like other ZV - grip bigger then [ZV-1]( And trusted sources share some more details about the ZV-E1: - AF from [a7r V]( but it has even better detection! - Body overheat a lot at the moment - Lots of new AI features, very innovative - Price is between $2,000 and 2500$ So this is the Summary of the Sony ZV-E1 specs: - New ZV-E1 E-mount camera is based on the [Sony As7III]( - Same A7sIII 12 Megapixel sensor - 4k60 & 4k 120 (no crop). But it appears 120p might be coming later via firmware update - no pixel binning - 409k ISO - AF from a7r V but it has even better detection - Body overheats a lot at the moment - Lots of new AI features, very innovative - Similar body style of the [ZV-E10]( but in the size of the [Sony A7c]( and with some FX3 elements - Price slightly below $2,500 - Announcement on March 29, 3pm London time There will be plenty of rumors and also possibly image leaks. Images of a new Sony A7LV camera for left-handers :) BIG WARNING: At the moment I believe those "leaked" images may be showing a JOKE being prepared by Sony for April 1st! They do NOT come from my trusted sources but from a new source. The images he shared were actually from a "alleged" Sony presentation and show much more than I am posting here. For privacy reasons I did crop the images and upsize the resolution with Topaz AI, to show the camera only. So please again, don't count me accountable for this leak. At the moment I believe this might be a real leak...of an April fools day preparation from Sony :) The new Sony A7LV: With that warning in mind let's move on to the images: They do show the new A7LV which is basically the A7rV made for left-handers. Now, IF THIS is real this would be the first ever digital camera made for left-handers. But my bet is that this is a Sony Aprils fools day joke! [Read more]( These three new Sigma E-mount lenses will be announced within the next few weeks! A trusted spruce confirmed that Sigma will announce the 17mm f/4, 50mm f/2 and 23mm f/1.4 within the next couple of weeks. After those three lenses I expect Sigma to focus on more unique "one of a kind lenses" ([my article about this here](. There will be also a different version of the classic 70-20mm f/2.8 lens ([my article about this here](. Here are the lens specs: 17mm F4 DG DN | Contemporary (Full Frame) - Lens construction: 9 elements in 8 groups - Shortest shooting distance: 12cm - Maximum magnification: 1:3.6 - Filter diameter: 55mm - Size: φ64.0mm x 48.8mm (50.8mm for E mount version) - Weight: 225g (220g for E-mount version) - Magnetic metal cap 50mm F2 DG DN | Contemporary (Full Frame) - Lens construction: 11 elements in 9 groups - Shortest shooting distance: 45cm - Maximum magnification: 1:6.9 - Filter diameter: 58mm - Size: φ70.0 x 68.0mm (70.0mm for E mount version) - Weight: 350g (345g for E-mount version) - Compatible with magnetic metal caps 23mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary (APS-C) - Lens construction: 13 elements in 10 groups - Shortest shooting distance: 25cm - Maximum magnification: 1:7.3 - Filter diameter: 52mm - Size: φ65.8 x 76.9mm - Weight: 340g - Mount: L mount, Sony E mount, Fujifilm X mount [Read more]( One small doubt(?) and additional Sony ZV-E1 info! Correction: A trusted source told me the specs of the new ZV-E1 camera but he said the camera name was "ZV-E". But after posting my article another source said the camera name is "ZV-E1". So maybe the first source only made a typing error and forgot to add the "1". Just so you know that I am now a bit uncertain about the name yet "Sony ZV-E1" or "Sony ZV-E"? Additional info: - The Sony ZV-E1 body is a mix between the FX3 and A7c. - The autofocus is from the Sony A7rV - 4k120 will NOT be launch at first, will come with firmware update after the summer I hope to get soon more details about this camera but also about the next Sony High End APS-C model! [Read more]( CONFIRMED: New Sony ZV-E1 will be announced on March 29. Here are the specs! The new ZV-E1 should have a similar body size of the A7c pictured above I can finally confirm that on March 29 we will get the new Sony ZV-E1. This will be Sony's first Full Frame E-mount Blogger focused camera. Here are the specs I think are 99,999% correct :) - New ZV-E1 E-mount camera is based on the [Sony As7III]( - Similar body of the [Sony A7c]( (but it's not an A7c replacement!) - Same [A7sIII]( 12 Megapixel sensor - 4k60 & 4k 120 (no crop) - no pixel binning - 409k ISO - Same [Sony A7IV]( autofocus (although another source said it has [Sony A7rV]( autofocus system...so there might be an misunderstanding here). - Cheaper than the [A7sIII (now over 3000 dollars/Euro)]( UPDATE: I corrected a single info! Looks like the camera name is ZV-E1 and not ZV-E as initially stated (have to correct my info in the video below) There will be plenty of rumors and also possibly image leaks.
